When Talent Shines Through

Recently I had the opportunity to photograph the super-talented sound engineer, James Hurr. Not knowing exactly what we were shooting or whereabout we would be, I started the day by preparing my camera equipment, making sure everything was ready to capture the best shots.

After shooting in various locations around London, we arrived at the location where James was working, I was shown into his studio which was equiped with the top-of-the-range computer and sound equipment. Next door in the studio was a band rehearsing for their next recording session.

James, well known in the dance music world, was in the midst of a recording session for a new album. It was fascinating watching him meticulously adjusting the sound levels, fine-tuning the mix, and ensuring that every instrument and vocal was perfectly balanced. The passion and dedication he displayed in his work were truly inspiring.

As the day came to an end I was satisfied we had captured the essence of James and his work. It is so satisfying working with someone so talented and I can't wait to do it again.
